NASHVILLE GROUP TO PERFORM AT 2014 ROCKLAHOMA FESTIVAL

MEMPHIS, TENN. (April 28, 2014) – Nashville, Tenn.-based hard rock band Hip Kitty is set to perform at the eighth annual Rocklahoma music festival. The event will take place May 22nd – 24th, at the “Catch the Fever” Festival Grounds in Pryor, Oklahoma and is billed as “America’s biggest Memorial Day Weekend party”. The four-day event is headlined by hard-rock stalwarts Kid Rock, Five Finger Death Punch, Staind, Twisted Sister, Deftones, and Theory of a Deadman. Hip Kitty is scheduled to perform on the AXIS Entertainment stage on Saturday, May 24th.
“I’m both humbled and excited,” stated Hip Kitty singer Jen Goncalves “Rocklahoma is the ultimate festival in the rock world and I can’t wait to play it. All of my favorite bands have played Rocklahoma and it’s a real honor for us to perform there.”
Formed in 2002, Hip Kitty is committed to bringing its audience a sound that is both raw and aggressive. Over the years, the group has toured with such artists as Alice Cooper, Papa Roach, Buckcherry, and Chevelle.
