Skyelor Anderson

Skyelor Anderson is a twenty-one year old singer/songwriter from Southaven Mississippi. After singing locally, he decided to make the 11 hour drive to Chicago, Illinois and audition for X-Factor in 2011. After impressing the judges with his rendition of Billy Currington’s “Must Be Doing Somthing Right”, Skye earned himself a spot on the show. Skyelor continued to impress throughout the contest, and ultimately finished in the top 8 of more than 250,000 contestants from around the country.

Upon returning home to Mississippi, Skyelor continued to write country music and performed at local bars and faires. Acting as his own manager and booking agent, Skyelor began securing shows with recording artists such as Jamey Johnson, Big Smo, and Sister Hazel to name a few. He also began to book shows in numerous different stats like Florida, Maryland, Iowa and Tennessee.

Skyelor has written many songs, some of which reflect his hometown of Southaven Mississippi. Southaven is a small town right on the border of Mississippi and Tennessee just south of Memphis. Skye is sharing is time enjoying the outdoors and spending plenty of time in the studio where he writes and records new material he hopes to pitch to publishing companies. Based on the reception of his lattest compositions, the future looks promising.
