From voice training to stage show presentation and live interviews, Hutch Entertainment will help to develop the artist. We can handle every aspect of Artist Development due to our connections and vast experience. Some of the areas we can help with include publishing, recording studios, record producers, engineers, mastering, website design, photographers, video production, presskit dvd/cd materials (electronic presskit), wardrobe/stylist, vocal coaches, and even personal trainers, that can get you in performance shape. All of these services can be provided for a nominal fee.

ARTISTS
Welcome to Hutch Entertainment, an entertainment agency and event production company based in Memphis, TN. the "Home of the Blues, Birthplace of Rock and Roll". Since 1993, Hutch Entertainment has provided outstanding music and entertainment for fairs and festivals, corporate events, nightclubs, colleges, and weddings. We work with a wide variety of bands and entertainers that will bring the party and excitement to your event!
We are a full service entertainment agency that prides ourselves on providing personalized service. Someone is always available to answer your entertainment and event questions and discuss any concerns you may have. Whatever type and size of event you are planning, we have the expertise to guide you towards making the best choice in music and entertainment so your event will be worry free and as successful as possible. We can help with securing the talent (as well as handling their rider requirements), staging, power sound and lights, catering, florists, and day of show event management. If you're a non profit that is looking to get the word out about your event, we can even help you negotiate your advertising with radio and print media outlets.
As for talent buying and securing entertainment for your event, our staff has worked with major record labels as well as a national television show. We work not only with booking agencies but with artist's management and public relations firms to ensure you get the best deal. As a result, we are able to get you the best deal! We work to negotiate the best price for talent so we can develop a long term working relationship!

MARTIN LUTHER KING CLASSIC
-Memphis Director / 1995
Featured Temple University, Georgetown, University of Arkansas, and University of Southern California in a basketball double-header on CBS television. Through this event, we worked with Albert Belle of the Cleveland Indians, basketball superstar Michael Jordan, rock supergroup U2, and Benjamin Hooks, president of the NAACP.
SPECIAL OLYMPICS "BEALE STREET JAM"

Featured the Memphis Horns, Freeworld, and others.
"ANGELS OF LOVE" BENEFIT
-Promoter / 1999
This benefit, hosted at the Young Avenue Deli in Memphis, Tennessee, featured bands Dust For Life, Eric Gales, The Riverbluff Clan, and others and provided over 300 families with Thanksgiving dinner!
"HEROES LIVE FOREVER" BENEFIT
-Promoter / 2003
This benefit was in the honor of three fallen firefighters. It featured bands The Memphis Horns, Kevin Paige, Inner 61, Gabby Johnson, and others.
Q107.5 TOYS FOR TOTS CONCERT
-Promoter / 2005
Hosted at the Highland Cue in Memphis, Tennessee, this concert featured bands Inner 61 and Fayetteville First Night.
CITY OF BENTONVILLE, ARKANSAS 4TH OF JULY FESTIVAL

Hutch Entertainment is very excited to be working as the Talent Supervisor for Legends & Lyrics a strong new show in a beloved format, already signed to a global distribution contract!
Legends & Lyrics is a unique musical performance series, which is driven by famous recording artists of all genres who write many of their own hit songs, blended with professional hit song poets, who write hit songs for the star recording artists. Legends & Lyrics is distributed and presented by American Public Television and will appear on PBS stations nationwide starting early 2009 (check local listings).
Each Weekly Show Includes the Following Segments:
-Recording Artists and Song Poets telling the story of the creation of the song and then performing their greatest hit songs and new releases.
-"Out of the Box" interviews with each artist/song poet.
-"Did You Know? Historical Facts" addressing the ancient origins and interesting facts about today's commercial music.
-"Legendary Recording Artist" or "Legendary Song Poets" interviews with those of "Legend" status.
-"Rising Stars" featuring undiscovered recording artist/song poets.
-"Tips of the Week" for aspiring song poets.
Legends & Lyrics is shot in an intimate classical performance hall in HD 1080p and Surround Sound. It is a "High Art" TV series that honors the true creators of the most popular genres of commercial music, while appealing to a vast range of viewing audiences. All performers are honored as diligent composers who quietly create the great songs that drive the music industry worldwide.
Hutch Entertainment is proud to be part of Slugfest Records.
Slugfest Records is a privately owned national independent record label that was founded in 1999. The company's operation is headquartered in Spring City, PA. This label is run by record executive/producer Joe Mattis who has over 15 years of experience working for such labels as Island, Polygram, Universal Music and King Biscuit Ent. The label's roster features Brittini Black and Scott Lindsay, along with a handful of developing artist. Slugfest Records also has its own state of the art recording studio for the development of content for its own and outside artist.
Slugfest Records is committed to implementing creative marketing and sales plans to help their bands achieve their goals. We look forward to continued growth and success of the label and to make Slugfest Records and our artist a successful part of the entertainment business.
